Worcester County FIA is a family that supports each other and most importantly our community. Marking the end of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, Worcester County has returned to normal operating procedures while still supporting a hybrid work schedule for staff still eligible for telework. Still, our doors open daily and we remain ever-ready to assist the many and varied needs of the customers who walk through them.
There’s a fervent buzz of energy happening all over our agency. We just completed an audit review for several benefits programs and we are preparing to conduct employment training for Able-Bodied Adult Workers with Dependents. We are also hosting a local job fair, assisting victims of Electronic Benefits Transfer fraud, as well as planning a number of community outreach events to ensure that eligible county residents are aware of our programs and services.
